Non-verbal: body posture, facial expression, hand gestures, eye contact, etc. 
Interruptions/Distractions: noise from other groups doing the activity .
Physical Distractions: Not being able to look at your partner can cause you to look at other things around the room and lose focus.

We both had some struggles with our drawings, when I was explaining to my partner what to draw he didn't do a good job of drawing, or I didn't do a good job of explaining.
