         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>What is the problem?</p></li><li><p>The problem is that when people feel cold </p></li><li><p>How does Science solve the problem?</p></li><li><p>Science shows that there could be multiple reasons for this to happen—for example low body weight, or just skipping lunches. We can solve this problem by simply eating more and not skipping lunch. Although it seems to be easy, it is hard for some people.  Low body weight is hard to solve because people sometimes have diseases. This might cause him to eat a lot, while he is still skinny and feels cold. This might cause the person to feel ill or have health issues by consuming that large amount of food.</p></li><li><p>Explain a finding.</p></li><li><p> James is very skinny so he gets cold easily. Take an example, last time we went swimming James was very cold, so he was moving a lot in waster to keep warm. While Marcel and Me was perfectly fine with the water temperature.          <description><![CDATA[<p>People usually think that the cause of float is the weight, although ships and boats are heavy. Why can the ships float while rocks sink? When we learned density, we learned water has a density. Things that are more "dense" will sink while others that aren't as "dense" will float on the water. This brings us back to the ship. The ship is mainly hollow and filled with air. In addition, air is less dense than water. This causes the ship to float on the water. Another scenario is how a gigantic rubber duck won't sink while a small piece of rock will. This also links to density. Although, the rock has a smaller volume yet it's mass is way bigger in compare. This makes the density higher, because "Density equals to Mass divided by Volume".</p>]]></description>

         <title>How Science Helps Us To Not Feel Cold</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>The problem is that when we feel cold, we will get sick and get sicknesses such as hypothyroidism, anemia,<strong> </strong>peripheral artery diseases. These diseases will cause people to suffer and even kill them.</p></li><li><p>Science can help solve the problem above because there are clothes and blankets made for this condition like thick layers of coat or jackets. There are also very fluffy and cozy blankets for you to sleep in comfortably without feeling cold at all. Also, the heating can prevent you from getting cold by giving you heat all the time. These objects all uses science to prevent cold and to accomplish there purpose.</p></li><li><p>The reason why the objects written above can prevent people from the cold is mainly because of the materials they were made out of. For example, the jackets and blankets may have a special material in it called velvet. This is a substance that traps heat, which makes the inside of the jacket or blanket very warm.          <title>Why Things Sink And Float</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p>The problem that science has been used to address is that when boats don't float, then people cannot transport because boats are made out of materials like metal, which has a density that is greater than the water, making the boat sink. Cargos and goods can not be brought to other places because there are no boats. If there are no boats, there will be no transportation over long distances.</p></li><li><p>The scientific principle used to solve and answer these questions is mainly the concept of density. Everything has density. Density is the amount of matter and mass inside an object. To solve the problem, we have to know that water has density. When we add objects to the water, it will sink or float according to their density. If the density of the object put into the water is lesser than the density of the water, then the object will float because it is lighter than the water. Same, if the density of the object is higher than the density of the water, then it will sink down because it is heavier than the water. Now moving back to the scenario of the metal cube and the wooden cube. Because the wooden cube has lesser density than the water, it can float and because the density of the metal cube is higher than the water, it sinks. In the scenario of the boat, although a huge boat made out of metal is very heavy and has a high amount of density, it doesn't sink. This is because though it is very heavy, it has a huge volume. It will take up a lot of space in the water. The boat also has a lot of buoyancy force which is the force of which how well an object float. The boat has a much greater buoyancy force than it's own weight, causing the volume of water to be displaced equally to its weight and let the whole boat float equally.</p></li><li><p>(No date) <em>Chipfalls</em>. Concluding, that we couldn't have the needs that are shipped across sea, in order for our health.  </p><p>SOULUTION:</p><p>the principles oof this problem is density, every thing has a density, depending on their material, in order to solve this problem, we have to know what the waters density is, And if the density of the thing is less than the water, the thing will float. take a cargo as an example, the density of metal altogether is more than the density of the water, making it sink, but while the cargo is mostly made out of air, that makes the density less, and that is why a ship will float. A second thing is that the floating ability is often called buoyancy, it will make other things float. while that is there, the boat contains lots of that, witch causes the water level to rise, and causing the boat to flow equally.</p><p>when boats con't float, I can cause us a lot of problems for us, like, not having the needed needs we need I our life.          <description><![CDATA[<p><br/></p><ol><li><p>Discuss how science helps us not to feel cold.</p><p>Answer:According to Christopher Minson, a professor of human physiology at the University of Oregon, there is hope. “Absolutely, people can adapt progressively to cooler temperatures,” he says. “Humans have become very thermostatic. We go from our perfectly heated or air-conditioned house to our perfectly heated or air-conditioned cars to our perfectly heated or air-conditioned work.” This, he believes, is not healthy. We’re not exercising the mechanisms we use to keep warm, and our perception of acceptable temperatures has become unnaturally narrow.</p><p>Essentially, says Minson, humans are big bags of water and meat. “What keeps us warm, really, is our metabolic rate: how much energy we’re producing.” But there are physiological differences meaning that some have to work harder than others to maintain their core temperature.</p><p>“Men in general are going to have a bit more muscle mass than women,” says Minson, “so this helps them stay a little warmer.” This is because having more muscle increases your basal metabolic rate – your capacity to burn energy from food. It helps explain the modern phenomenon of <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://qz.com/work/1373402/air-conditioning-is-sexist-and-cynthia-nixon-and-andrew-cuomos-debate-about-it-shows-it/">“sexist” office air-conditioning</a>, whereby the temperature is perfect for most men, but chilly for most women.We put our bodies under immense strain while training for and competing in trail races and ultramarathons. Time and again, our bodies exhibit what can only be described as remarkable adaptation to that strain. Many of these factors are environmental in nature, such as <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://irunfar.com/2018/06/handle-the-heat-heat-acclimation-for-endurance-running.html">heat</a> and <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://irunfar.com/2018/07/into-thin-air-the-science-of-altitude-acclimation.html">altitude</a>, both of which we’ve written about at length in this column. But what about the cold? Do humans have specific ways of handling cold weather? And what does that mean as you tackle cold-weather training and racing?</p><p>The answer is yes, we do adapt to the cold! Well, to a degree. In this article, we explore what the scientific literature knows about how the body reacts and adapts to being in cold environments. So, grab those hats and mittens and let’s get out there!<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>When compared to other mammals, humans are pretty maladapted to surviving and thriving in extreme and/or chronic (prolonged and/or repeated) cold. Yeah, that’s a fairly grim start, but nevertheless humans have developed numerous behavioral and physiological adaptations to mitigate cold exposure and to thermoregulate as needed. This means maintaining thermal balance by reducing how much heat is lost to the environment and by increasing heat production within the body</p></li><li><p>I think science can make some materials that can make us warm.</p><p>Answer:A new fabric created by a team of US scientists could be used to cool or warm up its wearers depending on how hot, cold or sweaty they are.</p><p>The material has the potential to create <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" class="body-link" href="https://www.independent.co.uk/topic/clothing">clothing</a> for sports from running to alpine skiing, which adapts and keeps people the ideal temperature.</p><p>When conditions are warm and moist, the fabric allows heat to pass out, and when conditions become cooler and drier it reduces the heat that escapes.</p></li><li><p>How science can make, and another thing is how to find a materials?, and maybe the materials will be expensive.</p><p>Answer:Both the global research community and federal governments are embracing a move toward more open sharing of the products of research. Historically, the primary product of research has been peer-reviewed journal articles and published technical reports. However, advances in information technology, new 'open access' business models, and government policies are working to make publications and supporting materials much more accessible to the general public. These same drivers are blurring the distinction between the data generated through the course of research and the associated publications. These developments have the potential to significantly enhance the value of both publications and supporting digital research data, turning them into valuable assets that can be shared and reused by other researchers. The confluence of these shifts in the research landscape leads one to the conclusion that technical publications and their supporting research data must be bound together in a rational fashion. However, bringing these two research products together will require the establishment of new policies and a supporting data infrastructure that have essentially no precedent in the materials community, and indeed, are stressing many other fields of research. Usually hoodies will limit the temperature from coming out of your body and helps you to keep  the temperature in your body. However, if you wear too much clothes, your body will be over heated and feel ill.</p><p>The solution for this problem is to make and wear warm clothes to keep heat in your body from loosing heat and dying.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>1:problem</p><p>we need to go travel by boat ,but the metel is very hevei .</p><p>2:solution </p><p>The answer to why ships can float comes from the famous principle of Archimedes which says that the net upward force on an object immersed in water is equal to the weight of the water displaced by the object. If a large object like a ship is lowered slowly into water, it will displace more and more water until the weight of water displaced equals the weight of the ship, at which point it will stop dropping and “float”.          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Problem:</strong></p><p>The problem that science has addressed is that if the boat does not float on water, people could not travel to different countries using water transportation, because if a boat that is made out by metal is more denser than the density of the water, but the boat that is made out by wood is less denser of the density for water. For concluding, I do not suggest people travel on the sea, because it is dangerous and easy to get sink</p><p><strong>Solution:</strong></p><p>The scientific principle used to solve this problem by saying that this problem is mainly concept with density. Everything has density. Density is the amount of matter and mass inside an object. To solve the problem, we need to know that water also has density, so we need to make Sur that if we add an object on water, it could sink because of their density.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Problem </p><p> Feeling  cold is problem  because it will make you uncomfortable  if the temperature is not extremely low.   If the temperature reduces you might shiver and have clumsy movements and poor judgment.  If the temperature is extremely low  it can lead to death because the body is unable keep warm.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong> How science  solved this problem</strong></p><p> Scienctists have developed materials that can  help keep temperature in a person's body.  Materials with good insulation [insulation in clothing is by trapping tiny pockets of warm air close to the skin. Air is a poor conductor of heat, and is therefore ideal as an insulating element. The air contained in an insulated clothing item will block heat from escaping from the body, and the more trapped air there is, the higher the insulating factor].include jackets and also things made out of wool.  Also things like wetsuits that trap water instead  of air. but the best jackets  at protecting  you from the cold are <strong>Parkas</strong>  because they are designed to provide maximum warmth and protection from the elements. These winter jackets are typically longer and more insulated than other types, making them ideal for extreme cold weather conditions. and this jackets works by <strong>trapping body heat close to the skin to keep you warm</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>Explain the finding</p><p>The material traps and keeps warm air next to the body to maintain the body temperature. and<strong>usually have a flap that snaps over the zipper</strong>.
