I would use a unit plan to plan the series of lessons so that together they help take the students towards the learning outcomes for the unit. I would also craft a culminating performance task for the unit. The standards will be shared with the students early on so they become self-directed learners rather than passive recipients of factual knowledge.

We also watched related content from different stakeholders (e.g. government body, researcher, fishermen etc) Students would then work in pairs on the strengths, challenges of the various strategies used to manage deforestation of mangrove forests. At the end of the given time, time was given for the students to read one another's works. 

Second part of the Padlet involves choosing the best strategy. 

Third part involves them coming up with solutions. Time will be given for them to read the various solutions before they vote on Padlet.
