Many people might think that that it hit an iceberg, but really it did hit an iceberg but the captain was in the bathroom when the crash happened.  One theory I have is that if the ship was cancel and mad it a day later i think everybody would be okay. Perhaps if the captain hold it a little longer everything would be alright.
