  • The religion they had were eastern religions, Judaism, and other beliefs.  
  • Post war Great Britain experienced a more democratic society. Woman were celebrated and took on 'male' occupations while still caring for their home. Many woman began to have shorter hair and shorter skirts, or even started wearing pants. However the idea that taking care of the family was the main idea remained unaltered. 
  • Many men were traumatized and faced injuries do to poison gas, machine gun fire, and powerful artillery shells, and women's skinned turn yellow due to long hours an poor conditions while working. 
  •  With all the injuries given during the war blood banks and plastic surgery was invented.
  • The youngest British solider was 12 years old and lied about his age to get into the war.

The cost of bullets fired in a 24 hour period was nearly 4 million pounds. Money for war expenses came from taxes and borrowing.   • Great Britain has a constitutional monarchy. Which means there's a king and queen and voting
  • Britain's government did not change too much. Before the war, women were working on getting the right to vote and after the war, men the age 21 and older could vote, women 30 and older could vote. This was a major change because it gave more rights to women and evened out the voting.
