Social

We will motivate the children when teaching them to work towards their future to make the most out of their situation and prevent more child poverty for future generations. By providing different insight programmes, YouTube talks and different people who volunteer to come in and speak form their own experiences which will inspire them. If they apply this knowledge in learning and planning their futures wisely by having career goals then it's more beneficial than just teaching them subjects, not knowing the importance of them and how to self motivate themselves.

The children, communities benefit from improved standard of living and living in less bad influences of different crimes as a result crime will decrease. In the long run, the companies will have more personalised trained workers and if companies and governments see this project works then more people will be encouraged to invest in the children of Nottingham preventing absolute and relative poverty sustainably even through the recessions.

a) User Value Proposition- what are you offering?

Firstly, the company will be based in the city of Nottingham and provide face-to-face teaching for children under 17, who can’t properly get a basic education. Usually, the company will provide lectures on basics and future career skills such as literacy, communication, technology, and personalised skills for the company.

Group 3's company would like to make a partnership with companies who are willing to invest and having a long-run apprenticeship where they are guaranteed to give works for the children who completed the company's required course of skills.

b) Impact Measures- How will you demonstrate that you are creating social impact?

We thought that providing a meal to children who are in a poverty situation might help to make the current situation better, however, ultimately, it is hard to solve ultimate poverty, which is descending from generation to generation. This might be originated from the shortage of education about basic skills as well as future career skills. Therefore, providing lectures about fundamental education and career skills with easy access will help to reduce the ultimate future poverty of children in need.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a) Customer Value Proposition- What do your customers (want to) get out of this initiative?

Customers (usually children under 17) can plan and prepare their future careers with suitable lectures that are prepared by Group 3's company. These lectures can also help customers to find out their aptitude and interest so that they can think and prepare for their future.

a. How do we plan to be environmentally friendly?

As teaching will take place face to face we will encourage the students to use public transport, by working with the local council by offering them free transport. This is also important as parents may not have cars or the time to drop off their children. Also, if they are close to community centre's they can just walk.

By bulk buying equipment we can avoid contributing to CO2 emissions as much as it means less use of transport to transport the goods.

Re-using equipment such as the laptops and providing the teaching at the youth centre means we can keep our carbon footprint down and will stop wastage.

By teaching the students about the environment it may create a pay it forward movement where they become more aware of the environment and what they can do to reduce their carbon footprint.
