         These Women proposed the declaration of sentiments. It demanded equality for women at work school church and in the voting booth. This convention marked the start of an organized women's rights movement. Notable members include Susan B Anthony and Lucy stone. They slowly reformed the worsens rights.

Reformers campaigned saying alcohol abuse is a crime because it causes the breakup of families, and mental illness.
