These services are provided by trained professionals who are familiar with such industries as engineering, geology, and science. Thanks to this diverse pool of professionals, the company is capable of building a highly-effective team to meet clients’ needs in an affordable way. With the recent Hurricanes impacting the Gulf Coast and southeast US, the company is hard at work providing disaster recovery services through EE&G Construction & Electrical, LLC and its sister company in Puerto Rico, LLC. Following Hurricane Maria and Irma, EE&G was tasked with implementing Operation Blue Roof by Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. Managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the program was initiated one month after Hurricane Maria crossed Puerto Rico. The goal was to provide temporary coverage to Puerto Rican homeowners in the form of a blue plastic tarp. EE&G was responsible for providing the work crews, supervision, equipment, permits, and all other services needed to provide temporary roofs to about 200 homes each day.
