In the interview with Keegan Payne and Stefanovic, who spoke about Keegan Payne's past offence and the $1m barramundi. To which Mr Stefanovic stated how Mr Payne had stolen and damaged a Polaris Ranger and Polaris Quad.

I believe that the way Mr Stefanovic diverted the way the interview was meant to go was one, pessimistic and stole Keegan Payne's moment to which he was happy about. It was extremely rude and inconsiderate, seeing how his character has improved yet he had to ruin his and the audience's mood. It was racially motivated in itself, being discriminative whilst talking to Mr Payne.

In this interview, it states Mr Stefanovic apologises. The real question is, did it remove the humiliation that Keegan Payne and his family must've felt? It does not. The embarrassment and racism Keegan Payne had received during that interview cannot be undone by an apology. This was an interview, not court where his previous mistakes prematurity had occurred, and it did not need to be dig up.

In this interview where Keegan Payne receives racism and humiliation, and has his criminal record illegally brought up he should have been compensated. A public apology directed towards him which can help Payne regain his dignity and reputation from public views. He should also receive a financial compensation due to the illegal broadcasting of his criminal record, (whom Stefanovic openly spoke about with no consent) as it can cause Keegan Payne loss of employment chances, emotional distress and damage to his reputation.

Lets talk about the racial discrimination Keegan Payne faced, including every other victim of racism. How does racism make one feel, how do they affect the person and community? Facing racism isn't a simple topic to speak about, it has been going on from way back. It can make one feel ashamed, worthless, depressed or anxious. It can ruin one's mental and physical health, affecting the person. In this case, Stefanovic's racist directed comment to Keegan Payne has perpetuated a negative and shameful stereotype to the youth of the Indigenous community. Racism can constrict a community's education, housing, and/or employment. Racism can induce a biased and stereotypical on an ethnic group. Although I have not witnessed racism, I'm aware of it.

This interview has affected Keegan Payne and his family, having his privacy publicly declared with no remorse whatsoever, with a simple apology to 'fix' it when it had not. This can cause humiliation and embarrassment to the Payne family. How are they to explain what racism is to his 11 year-old sister? Having heard the racist and insensitive comment to her brother, how would one feel? Rumours can spread around, either good or bad it still causes an impact on the family. The way that our generation can speak so freely about one's private information without consent, is incredibly infuriating including no fairness in this having Keegan Payne completely unaware of what question was bound to come.
