My expectations of this are that it might be challenging but in a good way. It is important to learn about and good to know about the government. I don't know as much as I probably should and my interest level is somewhat moderate. I like to pay attention to current events and know what's going on in the world, but going deeper and more about government is when I can lose interest.

My current opinion on the tariff is that they're not exactly good, but may be necessary in some situations. I can say that if Donald Trump is for it, then I'm sure I'm against it.

My opinion hasn't really changed after learning a little about it because I still don't know enough to change my mind, or maybe I won't end up changing my mind at all.

They work to stop sex discrimination.

I liked the performance of people reading the Declaration because hearing it read with that tone is impactful, but I would have to say that I prefer to read it on my own because I can see it in print and better understand the sentences and go slower if I need.
My favorite part of the Declaration is when they say life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness because those are the basic human rights that they declared, and we fought for these ideals, we shouldn't settle for less.

Both of the story corps stories were about being helped in some way. They had to do with change, because others helped the people to change for the better, and I think that ties to civics class because there can be a lot of change in governments and stuff like that. Americans can help each other to change and make things better, which is what happened in these stories. It's all about being a helpful and kind person who's willing to help someone, or on the other hand, being willing to change if you need help and someone offers.
