I am 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲 𝗗. 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗼, currently a Grade 11 HUMSS student from Lewis of Ateneo de Davao Senior High School. People tend to call me by my name, "dea", or "yanna".

I was born in July 13, 2008 at Panabo City, Davao del Norte but in May 2010, our family moved to Davao City to pursue education. I attended UIC for a total of 3 years before moving back to Panabo City in May 2016 and attended MCPI.

Half of the people in my friend group were my classmates since elementary thus why they're equally my family at this point. I've experienced so many adventures with them and shed lots of tears.

It was difficult for me to move away because it meant saying goodbye to my closest friends in order to attend a new school and city. I often think back on their presence, even though 4 of them go to the same school as me now.

When I'm with them, I can just be myself and laugh till my stomach hurts. Their combination of humor and ability to perform well in academics has inspired me to strive for excellence as well. They are one of reasons why I survived high school and made it memorable. I miss my friends so much ｡°(°.◜ᯅ◝°)°

In our school, we have a section called 'MSC' for each batch. MSC stands for Modified Science Class and is formed through thorough selection from the upcoming Grade 7 students. The students picked are usually the ones who showcase academic excellence in the field of math and sciences, and in this class, you'll be classmates for the next 4 years and will have extra subjects in relation to math and sciences.

Ironically, I am not a math and science girl at all, but I've been a part of the MSC section of our batch since grade 8 (there was no MSC when we were in grade 7 due to the pandemic), thus why I've been classmates with people in my section for 3 straight years now. Half of the people in this class are in my friend group and were my classmates in elementary school too so basically, this class is also considered my family. This class is filled with academically skilled and talented people, which is why they also inspire me to always perform at best. When there are competitions between our sections, our class tends to get competitive and because of this, we've won numerous class competitions. Our class shares a strong bond to the point it is hard for us to bid our goodbyes.

In all honesty, I was never interested in academics when I started school. All I could ever think of was to have fun and live life. My parents never pressured me to always do well; as long as I was able to do the basics and be a good person, that was enough for them. But for some reason, I started studying harder, and my hard work resulted in me landing in the top 2 in my class in 3rd grade.

Ever since the honors system was established in schools, I've been a consistent honor student. Then the pandemic happened, and I experienced severe burnout. Until this day, I face difficulty in maintaining my good performance.

The reason why I like the media I consume is because it aligns with my interests. Specifically, it gives me a sense of freedom by being able to express myself, read stories, listening to my favorite music, watching any content I want, and etc. Other than my personal interests, some of the media I consume enhances my creative skills (such as writing.)

The media I consume influences my lifestyle, particularly my interests or tastes. I believe that the media I consume does not affect me negatively since I am fully aware that in the end of the day, I am me, and that the media I consume won't define me entirely.
