         <description><![CDATA[<div>The most interesting thing I learned is that so many of the people who were "prisoners" ended up having breakdowns of some kind from a simulation. I found it very interesting that a simulation can still cause emotional pressure because the environment gets worse and worse simply by the "guards" getting a little too into character.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>What I thought was very interesting/ concerning was the lack of regards to the students' health. One "prisoner" had to go to the doctor due to the unhealthy eating  circumstances he was forced face. Also the fact that multiple men emotionally broke down and they believed it to be a ploy in order to escape.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think the most interesting thing from the webquest was just how invested the experimenters were and how they themselves started to believe that this was an actual prison. I also think it was fascinating how the prisoners really lost their sense of identity. For example, how they started referring to themselves by their number rather than their name.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I thought it was interesting how quickly people changed the entire identity of who they were during the experiment. It took the prisoners only six days to fully breakdown due to the terrible treatment. After six days the guards seemed to let go of all their morals of how to treat people, and some became physically and emotionally abusive. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I think its very horrible that some people had to go through this just for some "guards" playing too much into act and being very physical and aggressive. It blows my mind how they just abused these people just because they wanted to. They weren't told to so it was pretty much all of their choices. Those poor people had to go through all of that without them having done anything wrong. </div>]]></description>

These boys were arbitrarily divided into two groups by a flip of the coin. Half were randomly assigned to be guards, the other to be prisoners.
