Tourists can swim with sharks<br>3. There is a statue of a woman sleeping in a forest<br><br>Q: What (do you think) is the biggest challenge for tourism development in Fiji?<br>A: "The main culture of Fiji is Indian and it is not as appealing to tourists because of it...." Table mountain is one of the top 30 most photographed landmarks in the world, home to many unique species of flora and fauna<br>2. Most arrivals to Cape Town are domestic<br>3. FIFA World Cup contributed to the modernized infrastructure in Cape Town<br><br>Q: Why did they choose this destination as a sales pitch to a tour operator when it's already one of the destinations that generates the most tourism arrivals and receipts in Africa? (According to UNWTO)<br>A: There are other countries that deserve more attention for tourism promotion such as Namibia.<br><br>Q: Any direct flights to South Africa from Asia? <br>A: Need VISA. Not many direct flights from other continents. Direct flights from Singapore and Hong Kong.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Middle East Bahrain Presentation (27.11.2018) - Riffath, Haneen, Suha<br><br>3 things I learned:<br>1. There is a bridge connecting Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, Saudi Arabians dominate the tourist visits to Bahrain<br>2. Tree of Life: 4 Century old tree, one of the natural wonders of the world, represents magic of life<br>3. Bahrain is a major exporter of pearls, if you find any pearls you get to keep them, tourists can collect clams (up to 60 per person)<br>4. They have freedom of religion, in spite of being 70% Muslim<br><br>Q: Since there is inequality of the sexes, how is the social development of Bahrain, in terms of women empowerment?<br>A: More and more women being appointed for high posts within the govt of Bahrain - Jewish woman elected as the ambassador for USA<br><br>Q: What does Bahrain do to preserve and maintain the Hawar Island wildlife reserve? How important is preserving the Hawar Island for them?<br>A: Very important since it's their only remaining wildlife reserve. Remote to the main Bahrain island, it has a cultural essence, because it is a way of reminiscing what originally was there. <br>They offer day tours and limiting tourists/visitors to preserve and reduce the negative impacts that may be caused.</div>]]></description>
