Noticing your breath will help you to calm down. Choose your favorite calming breath (like candle breath, humming bee breath, count to 5 breath etc) and practice for 10 breaths. Put your hand up to your mouth and notice how the air is cool when you breath in and warm as you breath out through your mouth. 

Listen to the calming music and meditate for 10 minutes. 
Focus on your breath.
Take a breath in and count 1, 2, 3. Breath out and count 1, 2, 3. Keep counting your breath.

When we play music, especially in a group, we have to take turns and play our notes correctly to form melodies. Just like we play our notes to the number of counts in music, we must also rest according to the number of counts in the rests. For example, a whole note has four counts, so you would play that note for four beats. In the same way, if you see a whole note rest, you rest for four beats before you start playing the notes again.
