      Sitting Bull, a Souix warrior, embraced the religion. Later was killed after his first ceremony while resisting arrest.
      The Lakotas sent messengers to receive the new religion.
      The Ghost Dancers were peaceful who didn't harm anyone or destroy anything.

The new dance was supposed to be the result in the disappearance of whites and the return of the buffalo.
