Most of the world speak or at least can some english today. 

English is both used as a business and finance language, and in most of the world english is the language used. Many need to learn the language to get the job and education they want. 

English is the language spoken in most movies and series, and therefor many both learn english to understand and to be a part of movies and series.

All in all english is the most spoken language that we need if we want to be a part of the international community.
