Oedipus is a Prince? - We found out that Oedipus is not just some rando who never held power in his life before he became King. He used to be a Prince back in Corinth so he was qualified somewhat to become a King.

Jocasta is the Mother-Wife? - So in the latest part of the story, we found out that Oedipus was supposed to have married his mother and killed his father. Who he thought was in Corinth, however, it is revealed that they were not his real parents and we are now led to believe that Jocasta and Laius might have been his parents.
