Either sketch may become my final but I’m leaning toward the bottom one.

So my piece is a minitrue model of a half Indian store and half true American fast food place and there's different components of this piece that will go around and inside of the model. Any ideas of what I can add?

The artwork displays how shared interests between my family, like enjoying an airplane flight, can bring my brother with autism and us closer together, create understanding, and comfort. As well as the sensory experience those interests can bring, representing the clouds as cotton balls.

My plan for this is to try to portray love (brotherly, platonic, friendship-y, motherly, not just romantic) over time. I’ve already drawn the big bang and plan to move through time!

The weird figure above our young waterlogged Earth is called LUCA, the last common ancestor of all life on Earth, including bacteria. This piece is supposed to convey the love LUCA had for her surroundings and such, that she kickstarted other life on Earth.

I chose to play around with perspective using nature to turn a normally fearsome creature (Cerberus) into something not so scary. Conveying the narrative that not everything we perceive as evil or scare is actually bad.

How do maternal influence, first love, and life dualities “both uplifting and painful “intertwine to shape how I perceive my identity, and my evolving sense of self worth and self love?

My piece is on my cultural identity crisis with my Asian culture and my American culture where on the mirror side is what should be or what my family wants me to be with traditional clothing, light skin, and skinny. while in reality is who I am, where I’m tan, short, and stubby, and wear comfortable clothes this connects to my self and how I struggle with my more cultural self and figuring out how to face it.
