Qui is a word to replace a direct object (who) NO. QUI REPLACE THE SUBJECT: ADJA, QUI EST MON AMI, EST SYMPATHIQUE.

Que is a word that replaces a subject (that) NON. LES FLEURS QUE JE TE DONNE (je te donne QUOI (COD), des fleurs...)

You use dont when you dont want to repeat a word two times. You can only use it when there is a de infront of the word.
