Multiplication: Multiples of 7

I am pretty good at multiplication overall, however multiples of 7 always gave me trouble. Many students struggle with this. I often use other numbers as reference to compare. For instance, I always remember 7x7=49. If I have to find 7x8=? I will start with 49 then add 7 to that.

Dividing Fractions

The process of dividing fractions is not that tricky. The concept of why we do the "keep, change, flip" when dividing is what's so confusing. We know what we have to do, we just don't understand why and i'm sure most students feel the same.

Reading and Comprehension

Reading has always been a weakness for me. I would have students read a text and then make a timeline of what they read. This would focus on timelines and comprehension of the beginning middle and end of a text.
I would focus on sequencing in a story. Students will create a storyline on a hat. When they finish, they will be using an online game to sequence daily life things. They do not have to read a passage and sequence it. They will be able to understand the concept of sequencing and how things have a correct logical order
