Ultimately, I transitioned to adult nephrology, then to critical care. More than a decade ago, I completed my Master's Degree and became a Nurse Practitioner. Specialty surgery has always been my practice focus. I have practiced in neurosurgery, cranial base surgery, colon and rectal surgery, and now in urological surgery. I was also in a leadership role for several years as a Chief Nurse Practitioner.
