Designspiration Album: I like how the cropped circle is a close-up of the wave while the outer image is the full wave. This cover has nice muted colors and simple central typography that uses leading lines from the wave's crest.

Recording Artist of my choice: We have listened to this album a lot in VisCom this year. I like how the image has a lot of lines and movement with the use of vibrant colors. I can see trying to crop (using layer masks) and, cut up multiple 7-object photos and rotating them to look like this. The all-black background is a great element with the typography simply placed at the top in two different font choices; one bold sans-serif and one serif.

The light to dark is very smoothly transitioned. The circle is immediately where the eye goes because the tree in the top right is what's keeping you from looking too far up to miss it. It's almost kind of simplistic, which is also what I like about it.

I like the landscape on this album cover because the hills in the back look symmetrical. The tree is in the left rule of thirds, which allows the eye to notice the tower in the middle, even though it's in the background. Part of the foreground is blurred out, too.

There are many parts of this album cover that inspire me. First off, I love the surrealism of the creature in the center of the album and just the overall weirdness of it. I also of course really love the vibrant blue tones.

I really like the simplicity that gives a focus to the art in the middle. The way it doesn't quite match up is really eye catcgung, and I really enjoy the drawn/illustrated look of the art.

I really like the colors in this photo. Its really simple and symmetrical which is even more apparent by the repeating image down the center. Its a really cool effect and makes the photo look almost 3D. I also like how the photo looks like it was taken from an older camera it makes it feel more inviting and real.

I really like the detail and colors. I love the contrast of how old the picture looks and their logo looks more modern. I really like how much is going on with the chess board, people made out of city buildings, and the statute of Terzo in the center. The whole picture is very appealing and I like how many hidden details there are.

I like this album cover for design inspirations because I like how in focus the heart is to where you can see the droplets on it. I also like how the background is almost not so much a surface but more of a colored mess. I like the color pallet and how they all blend together. I also really like the typography of the album.

Recording artist of my choice: I chose Fleetwood Mac because my mom and I like to listen to them together. A lot of their album covers are black and white which I really like because it kind of contrasts the type of music it is because it is very upbeat. I also like how a lot of the photos used for their covers don't make a lot of sense.

Artist of my choice: I chose Bryson Tiller because my mom likes to play his music a lot when were in the car going somewhere. A lot of their album covers are dark and dont have bright colors which is something I think brings the cover out.
