I had hear about Covid and its deathly symptoms in China, but I thought nothing of it because, well I was having fun in school. However, it reached March 6th, my birthday, and I remember listening to an album when my mother told me the news that we would be going digital learning because Covid had blown a heavy strike to the U.S. I thought it would last a month at most but it continued. Recently the government has said that we could all go out again and and we even have vaccines for it know. However, the U.S. has the highest death toll due to Covid. A whopping 1 million deaths. Covid impacted me and my family because we all had to adjust to the new environment and the new technology we needed to use for our work. We bought things that would helps us finish our work. Now does Covid make any sense to me two years past all this? No. But i can understand that it taught me how to adjust in difficult situations. See when it first happened, my family and I used to go out a lot. Now we kinda stay in more because we have grown used to it. We are starting to get back out more again and it’s becoming fun again. However, the one thing im very sad we didn’t go to was Iceland. It looks stunning and there and I always wanted to try their natural hot tub with volcanos. My first day of school is tomorrow. Its in person. It has been a year and half since I have gone to a school in person. I’m more nervous then usual because I am going to a new school. My brother has been going to this school since 5th grade. So hw will be here to guide me a little but the rest ill need to do on my own. Away from my friends and people I used to know. I’m excited but I'm a little worried that i might not make friends or that I might not do good in a new environment. But I also have my hopes. For example, I’m excited to be in person for the first time since forever. I also might make new friends that will change my life or maybe teachers that might introduce me to a new passion or hobby. I can predict what the school year is going to be like but I feel that its not gonna be so bad. I have some hope that I might do good but the future looks uncertain. How did you feel when the lockdown started? Afraid, uncertain. She Underestimated it. 

• How did you feel when it ended? Accustomed to being in lockdown and changed habits. She got used to being home all the time and working online. 

• What did you do in your free time while in lockdown? She made it a priority to try to stay in shape. Because she was not moving around that much she wanted to start exercising more to not feel lazy. She also read books that she never read before because she had so much free time.

• Did you pick up any new hobbies? Cooking

• Did covid change you as a person? Yes it did. Because of getting covid and getting disease. She wished she could have avoided it but knew that it was unavoidable. 

• If so? What changed? She has become a little more careful about germs. She also realized how important it is to socialize with people. Because during lockdown she missed human interaction. 

• What did you find yourself doing throughout the lockdown? Spending time with family, cooking, working, and exercising
