This illustration is inspired by “Alice In Wonderland” which is a popular Disney animation. I wanted to show the difference between the real world and the underground world, the wonderland, with Alice falling in between. Normally, I might choose falling vertically or horizontally but I wanted to create a different perspective of falling diagonally. I tried to make a huge difference between the real world and wonderland by using different hues and elements. For the real world, I only used monochrome colors and straight lines showing the strict limits, and the boring atmosphere but for the wonderland, I created a colorful vivid world with limitless possibilities. I changed the art style for Alice from the original cartoon version but from the colors and her nature, people can easily tell that she is Alice.

First of all, I covered up the scorpion head with blue stone to be consistent with what’s going on already in the tail.

The first enemy is a parasite with a candle light on the head. Its legs/tails can stretch out far away to penetrate the skin and release the green poison inside to kill gradually.

The second enemy is an earth seal which protects other enemies like a fortress while enemies like parasite candle are attacking.

The third violet rabbit is the mind flayer. The gold rabbit heads in its belly release bright lights and sharp sounds to manipulate the mind and get lost and froze for a while.

The fourth enemy is the spider bark. It’s way of fighting is simple. It’s just going to fight aggressively with the sharp hands and head. It’s also very fast.
