The school can provide more positive encouragements and having weekly talk about all the comments from the students' suggestion box. School's weekly announcement broadcasting can tell the students that their opinions count and how they count. Unlike when they were in elementary school, there were teacher parent conferences in elementary school, where I feel I can get some really good progress information from my kids' teachers even though each time slot was rushed. But now in middle and high school, I miss the teacher and parent conferences. They have been interacting with their phones and screens for a long time. Schools need to provide those opportunities in a safe and integrated way and administration needs to make sure they have the personnel for that.
