Charles I (1625-1649)

I am Charles I and believe in being a divine right of kings. Me and the Parliament never got along due to taxation, religion, and governance difference. Our conflict escalated to the English civil war in 1642 this made me call forces aimed to fight the other side. The war had ended me in defeat.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I Oliver Cromwell got the honor to lead in the English Civil War as I was a Puritan Army General. Due to my success in winning the war I was crowned the Lord Protector. I soon went to change the government by abolishing the monarchy to establish the commonwealth. And was involved of executing James I as a military dictator.

Charles II

I am Charles II and was exiled to France due to being a threat for the throne by being Charles I's son. Once Oliver Cromwell died I was able to return to England and restore the Monarchy. During my time I decided to take care of the wounds left by the Civil War and peruse a new policy of religious tolerance this let people have freedom of worship to non-angelic protestants and Catholics.

James II (1685-1688)

I am the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland due to my brother Charles II having no legitimate child. England had begun to be Protestant and this became a challenge due to the difference in religion. This started the Glorious Revolution of England where I was soon overthrown that lead to a constitutional monarchy that now limited people with power.

William & Marry (1688-1702)

I am Marry and the daughter of King James II but was raised Protestant unlike my father I went and got married to my first cousin William of Orange. When Parliament had overthrown my father they asked me and William to rule together as a protestant alternative. We decided to agree to govern according to the laws and decisions of Parliament beginning the Constitutional Monarchy in England that soon later turned into the English Bill of rights that limit the monarchy.
