When I first read this I expected this to be how a teacher would report abuse if they thought the guardians were abusing the child. It's sad to think a teacher (or any adult) would abuse a child and there would need to be a procedure. It is important for parents to note what abuse is classified as so they know where to go for proper documentation and file a complaint to the correct people.

It very explains what child abuse includes in full detail as well as what it does not include. It also explains in-depth what actions must be taken once it is confirmed suspicion. I had never thought about how a parent or guardian would have to look out for something so serious as child abuse in a classroom.
