The religion of the Maryland Colony was Catholicism. There were about 4 religious groups in the Colony. The four religious groups were the Anglicans, Puritans, Catholics, and Quakers. Their religion was quite different from others. They were known as the Catholic Colony that embraced religious toleration and religious freedom in contrast to other churches. But one thing was that the Colony only tolerated the Christians who believed in the Trinity.

3. According to our study, Maryland was the first state to establish a private government. This would imply that the proprietor would have administrative authority to act in their own best interests. This may be traced back to the first Baron Baltimore, George Calvert, who suffered discrimination in England and requested a separate colony. He has been able to do what he believes is right and wrong since he was given.

Because there were so many areas, geography and climate played a role in the colony's development. They didn't have many animals, but it was beneficial for them to obtain skins and exchange them. They could also grow a lot of crops and trade with the colonies around them thanks to the area they had. Maryland has a diverse landscape, thus they had a variety of alternatives for where to establish homes, fields, and cities. Because the temperature would be high, the weather was on their side. This provided them with fertile soil and humid air, ideal for farming

The economic benefits that geography gave to Maryland would be how well the maritime industry would be able to trade. And, because fish and crab were so popular in Maryland, the fishing industry was highly profitable. The lumber and mining industries flourished as a result of the land.

4. Maryland's government evolved and developed over time to become what it is today. They are renowned as the English Catholics' haven. I feel there is a shift because they used to be members of a different religion, and I believe that concentrating and assisting people in that one is having an influence. In addition, I feel that Maryland's growth is how they altered the government's proprietor. They passed legislation declaring the government's capture of the colony's freemen proprietors.

The British decided to leave and settle in Maryland because they wanted to be in a safe place for their religion, which means that many protestants and puritans left their place. But by the time they arrived there were not many Native Americans there, only about 3,000 because many died due to diseases. Which made Maryland become torn by political struggles and religious friction between the protestants and Catholics. And they weren't really focused on the Native Americans. By the year 1649 Maryland passed a law promising religious tolerance but only to Christians who believed in the Trinity.
