Hello fellow educators! At Andrew Institute of Christian Education, we have fielded the OSMO Learning System and tablets for teachers to easily integrate digital learning activities into our purchased curricula. OSMO is a safe and effective means of enriching or substituting learning activities in Science, Mathematics, Art, Language Arts, and Computer Science. Please follow the link in the Instructional Phase to access an introduction and tutorial on the OSMO Learning System. Your task is to design a lesson using any lesson from the teacher handbook that either substitutes a learning activity or augments one using any one of the OSMO applications installed on the school tablets. You and your students will be asked to provide feedback at the conclusion of this activity. If you have question, let me know!

- Pastor Josh

Teachers, please watch the attached YouTube Video. This will demonstrate one way the OSMO Learning System can be combined with AICE curriculum. You may then explore the other applications on your own in preparation for the next phase. In the local context, Pastor Josh will meet with you to help guide you through the various applications if you have difficulties.

Please notify Pastor Josh when you have viewed the video and then proceed to the Implementation Phase - Lesson Design.

Within the local context of AICE, the teacher was able to watch the video and decided to pair a lesson from the "Saxon Math 1" curriculum with the OSMO Numbers application. The teacher received shaping instruction from Pastor Josh on how to use the application per the teacher's design. The teacher was then able to successfully and effectively complete the learning outcome objectives. Particular success was observed when the local context teacher had students combine the OSMO Numbers application with the use of the Saxon Math manipulatives so that both materials were truly combined and improved.
