CONNECTION

In the first quote, Romeo is telling Paris to leave him alone. He is saying that he loves Juliet and he is showing here that their relationship means everything to him. He is also indirectly stating that he can't live his life without her. In the passage said by Juliet, we can see the approach Juliet takes after seeing Romeo dead. She decides to kill herself because she can't live without her lover. These two quotes relate to each other because they show the connection Romeo and Juliet have. These quotes also show the impact they are in each other's life. To them, love longs to be achieved even if it means in the afterlife. This is important because it shows the impact the ancient grudge has on these star-crossed lovers, and how far they are willing to go to finally be together.

Love is defined as an intense feeling of deep affection. Love can't be bought or forced upon people. Romeo and Juliet experienced this overpowering force that couldn't separate them despite their values and morals. We think of love as something amazing, but for Romeo and Juliet, love was brutal and ruthless. Love can mean many things, therefore we can't describe it in one way, it means many different things to many different people. In conclusion, Shakespeare wants us to understand how powerful love is and how much we will sacrifice in the name of love.
