Doug Federspiel leverages his extensive experience and training to offer out-of-court dispute resolutions in person or virtually. A longtime Yakima resident, Mr. Federspiel began his career at Velikanje, Moore & Shore, where he focused on commercial litigation in matters including contested intellectual property and real estate transactions. After 17 years, he became the general counsel for Wilkinson Corporation, a real estate investment firm. In 2010, Mr. Federspiel won election as a district court judge for Yakima County. In this role, he adjudicated misdemeanor cases and civil trials. Two years later, he was elected to the state superior court. Mr. Federspiel was also nominated for a federal judgeship in the Obama administration. Mr. Federspiel earned his law degree at the Willamette University College of Law in Oregon.
