The Treaty Of Versailles led to a tragic peace as the Germans had no say over the development of their country or the political control they had as a new government was resumed. This treaty led to a tragic peace as the punishments or enforcements were very harsh on Germany. The Germans were angered as they had to pay millions in reperations and admit the war was their fault. They were further annoyed when they were not represented at the Paris Peace Conference. They also were hugely bitter and frustrated when they had to admit that the war was their fault. This tragic peace soon led to the rise of Hitler who redeemed Germany's confidence but he also caused huge destruction.

I think the Treaty of Versallies led to a Tragic Peace because none of the Germans liked how their country had been taken over or how it was now being run. This is also what had enraged Hitler so much that the country put him in power to essentially "save them". So Hitler became in charge therefore you can see the 'tragic' part of this peace.

the treaty of Versailles led to a tragic peace because the terms were very harsh and they angered the Germans who had to pay millions in reparations and admit the war was their fault. The Germans were also angry because they were not represented at the Paris peace conference so they could not fight for less harsh terms for the treaty. The Germans were also angered because lands were taken off them and the population decreased , they also had to take their military out of the Rhineland and the French then occupied that area. Germany also lost the Saar coal fields so their economy took a big hit because of that.

The treaty of Versailles led to a tragic peace because when the war ended and the allies leaders came together to make justice and peace come to Europe they would absolutely destroy Germany's power and dismantle there country. But all of the allies leaders didn't agree to this in there own mind. President Wilson of the USA didn't want to punish Germany but to bring peace to Europe. The priminister of England George wanted to punish them put not as severe as the French wanted to,

It lead to a tragic peace as the sanctions forced upon Germany were too harsh causing outrage and poverty in Germany. The treaty paved the way for the rise of Hitler as the German people turned to more radical political parties out of anger and desperation. This eventually lead to the events of World War II, The Cold War and the expansion of communism.
