With every student comes a different behavioral outcome. The interaction with one child will be different from another child; having differentiated techniques and lesson plans are essential tools. The use of varying counseling theories and techniques will work individually and in small groups which promote growth and development. The area that I will need to focus more on would be understanding that legal issues, ethical standards, and the policies and applying them correctly, and making sure that I truly understand them and why they are established. One of the key impacts is the cultural social and environmental influences on our students and how they influence their learning. Having a strong leadership team does a great deal of role modeling for the children and intern students can see professionals in high regard where they too can have a positive learning experience.

I don't feel as connected as I would with people my age and older.
