San Diego Zoo

Hi, friend.

San Diego Zoo is a good place to visit with family.  In San Diego Zoo, you can see different animals.  For example, you can see elephants, lions, bears and many more.  Other good thing is the weather. It is between 70 and 78 degrees Fahrenheit in summer.  The ticket’s prices are accessible but inside is expensive.  It has a big parking lot and you can park your car near to the zoo. But inside to the zoo you will walk a lot because there are many animals to see.  If you choose go to the zoo you will need to get up early because the zoo is far from Yuma.

I really enjoyed attending Mana concert with you and your dad. It was SUPERB!!!! I really liked spending that night hearing this popular group with you and our friends because I could see how their popularity and music galvanized two generations (parents and their children) singing and dancing together. The sound was awesome because we could hear them very clearly even though we were in the back. They are amazing musicians that performed their most popular songs, and made the audience go wild!! Unfortunately, we got the tickets late, so we had to stand in the back. It was hard to see them clearly because of the distance they looked like tiny toys. Moreover making a round trip was a big mistake because we spent more time on our way and arrived very late at home. Next time, we plan to buy the tickets in advance and as well as spend the night in the city the event will be performed.

Last weekend I went to see the movie Spider Man 3. It was excellent because all time the actors was in action and wasn't borred. I arrived late because i had a setback with my car. The theater was wonderfull bacause had a good sit and place from to see the movie.

I recommend watch this movie.

Hi Francisco,

In March, your brother Eduardo and I visited Phoenix. We went to the game between Mexico and USA. Your brother was happy all the way to Phoenix. When we were in the Stadium, your brother was excited and told me, the player are really, not in the TV. The game was amazing because both teams got two goals. I think the game was awesome because all the people were exited. The problem was, rained small time. Then the weather was cold. The other problem, Phoenix is far, I drove back home but I was tired. Next time I planning to rent a Hotel for take a rest.

Thank you for telling me about the jerseys at the sport store. It has great jerseys to complete my collection. The most incredible is they have original and fake ones to choose. I decided to spend my time there because I collect soccer jerseys to wear it or save it. But also, I have problems. The original ones are too expensive and I can’t afford to buy some of them. If I buy one of them, maybe the some teams changes the jersey the next year. These jerseys will gain space in the closet and buying them will be an obsession.

Soccer Game

Hey July,

I went to see the soccer game between USA vs MEXICO. I had a lot of fun. My seat was at the first row, so I was able to see all the players very close. I drank a couple of beers. It was expensive but I enjoy it . On the first round I was upset because my team was losing, but later on we caught up and the game ended as a tie. Then I drove three hours to get home.

 Last month I went to the theatre to see the movie, Noah. I really enjoy it. The special effects were incredibles, the sound perfect and the actor’s performance were good. Small problem, the movie started an hour late because the theatre had problems with the power. The movie was excellent. Hope to see you soon.

Subject: Ride a bicycle

Hi Eddy,

I have started to use my bicycle again. My doctor told me that I need to started to do some exercise. I chose to start with the bicycle. I like to take long trips and I read an article that say ride a bicycle help to prevent heart attacks. That is AMAZING!!! I remember when I began to use my bicycle. That was so easy. But now, I have some problems with this newadventure, firstthe seat is so uncomfortable. Second, I have some fear of falling down on the streets or to break me a bone. Another is, I need to learn how change a flat tire. I don’t want to be in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire. That can be scary for me, you know how I am. The last one is the weather, sometimes is raining or doing some wind. Not always is a good weather, I like when a sunny day. Maybe I need to buy a static bicycle for those days. I will be writing you about this experience.

HI FATIMA,

Magic Mountain is an amusement park for the whole family. My children were excited

when we arrived to the park. The park looks faboluos for the decorations inside the park.

When we started the rides, we felt amazed by their. The rides have levels that run from

1 to 5, but tha bad thing of them is the waiting line. Sometimes, it takes some minutes

other times it takes hours. When lunch time came, we saw thew expensive prices on foods.

The mayority of the restaurants have fatty foods. We finished exhausted because we

walked all day back and forth. When you decide to take your family to six flags, the first

thing you have to do is check the weather conditions because one time we went and started

raining. They close the park around 1 pm but they gave us a replacement of our tickets.

We lived far away for those things to happen.

Hi Angelica,
Hector and I went to the Intocable Concert last month al Quechan’s Casino and it was
AMAZING!! We had good seats, so I took a lot of pictures. The musicians played
their old songs. The energy galvanized the people. We felt comfortable because
the sound was perfect. The stage was remarkable because of the colorful lights.
But we had a few problems: too many people, so the line to buy drinks and beer
was very long and Hector missed part of the concert. The other problem was the
band played for a very short time!!! Only an hour and half we were angry. At
last moment we lost our friends and we spend time looking for them. Finally, we
found them and we went to dinner.

I hope next time can come with us.

Softball Tournament

May 21,2014

Hi family,

I don’t know much about softball, but these are the funniest games that I have seen. First, this is a softball tournament between JV Farms workers. Most of the workers ages are between 40 to 60 years old and they haven’t exercised for many years. Because it is very hard for them to run, some of them have their own runners. This is a family event where all members can participate. Sons, daughters and grandsons, can be runners or regular players. Wives play and cheer too. All the games are full of fun. Everybody is invited to join us on our next game. Free drinks are available for all participants and spectators.
