While my children are grown now, I'm very sentimental to all the cute xmas ornaments they made when they were in Pre-school. Every year (and it's been 25 years since my oldest was in pre-school) my Xmas tree has many of those precious handmade ornaments. I've preserved them well. HA.

While decorating the tree we take a ridiculous number of photos. Each year we look back at the prior year to see which of my kids put the angel on the top of the tree. The ornaments on the tree are all of the wonderful memories and memorials of years past.

Growing up Jewish, we didn't do much holiday decor in our house. However, I love going to Christmas themed bars, gatherings, etc. This picture is a throwback from when I lived in Boston and was visiting a friend in NYC for the holidays. NYC is the perfect place to visit during the holidays!

Our Annual Boat Parade - Boat Decorating competition and a dock decorating competition. The night is filled with Christmas Music and lots of smiles. This year had palm trees on the back deck.

Each year I add more lights to the tree on the left - it escalates every single year (it may actually be a problem). Hard to see in this photo, but there are 1400 lights under the snow. The only things there were more of than the lights were the spider bites I got stringing them up…

I couldn't just pick 1 photo, so I made a collage. The big photo at the top was last year's visit with Santa at Cabela's. Such a bittersweet day as we said goodbye to Leela (yellow lab in the wagon and third bottom picture from right) the next morning. I have always wanted to have a Christmas tree in each room of my home during the holidays, each with its own unique vibe. This holiday season, my fiancé and I started that tradition with my very own Pink Princess Christmas Tree. If Glinda the Good Witch herself had designed it, this would be her tree—right down to the bejeweled crown tree topper. I am absolutely in love with it and cannot wait to continue building on this tradition.

Every year after we pick out our Christmas tree, my husband puts his inflatable turkey on top and won’t move it until we decorate it 😅 His family decorated for Christmas before Thanksgiving growing up, and he started putting a turkey on top of the tree in protest. Now it’s become a tradition in our family 😂
