In daily communication, many people like to communicate with others online. Such as, Whatsapp, Facebook, Wechat and other software. There are many reasons why these people choose to communicate online. For example: social fear and unwillingness to communicate with people face-to-face; Living in different areas, or it is inconvenient to get together to discuss; Communication barriers, which are always caused by the lack of assistive software in daily life , and cannot communicate with others normally. In these examples, communication barriers occur in real life and can be effectively solved with these software. Nowadays, due to the rise of VR, it is not only these social software that can only use voice and text that can help people overcome communication problems, but also compared to these ordinary social software, virtual reality technology can better improve these people. The virtuality of VR, which helps people communicate in another identity; the remote real-time nature, which can use sign language, the surrounding environment or props to explain things better; and the ease of use and understanding, which can make both parties better Understand the other party, or experience the other party's situation from the other party's perspective.

1. Anonymity

In real communication, people are face to face or know each other's identity, and their various behaviors will have an impact on themselves and the people around them in reality. In virtual reality, people can use virtual leather cases, such as the game VRchat, where people can choose their favorite character as their own character model, which can be a furry, a monster, a robot, or even a celebrity. When players use these characters, they often become involved, giving them a kind of psychological hypnosis that makes them less socially fearful. (6) xxx once mentioned that "when players play another character, they will not be so nervous because the other party does not know who he is." Therefore, when using VR, people will open their minds to a certain extent and start trying to communicate with others because of the anonymity of virtual reality. At the same time, because each other does not know the other's true identity, they can safely practice their second language without worrying too much like reality ().

In VR, people can communicate and communicate better. When using communication software, people can only explore each other's intentions and true thoughts through text or voice, and may be interrupted by other things at any time. But in virtual reality, people can see each other's movements and changes in the environment, thereby achieving a face-to-face and immersive feeling. (3) Body language is an essential part of daily communication and can effectively help people focus more when listening. In addition, the environment is very critical. You can add some specific environments, such as laboratories and offices to increase the seriousness of discussions; parks and entertainment scenes to increase the fun among partners. (5) Some special forces have used VR-built scenes to train teamwork, and the improvement of teamwork is visible to the naked eye. Compared with real training, VR is not only much safer, but the scene construction speed is also faster than the real environment, which can improve cooperation and communication between teams with higher efficiency. And compared with real-life communication, people can use additional tools to assist at any time online or in VR, such as translation and AI, which can help people improve cooperative communication more accurately and efficiently.

In daily communication, misunderstandings often occur due to inability to understand the other party. VR can allow each other to see problems from each other's perspective. In an experiment, a doctor used virtual reality to assume the identity of the patient, allowing the doctor to understand the patient's feelings, thereby improving the attitude of communication and becoming more patient and friendly.
