My name is Mia and I am a very hard working and determined person. I can be stubborn and talk a lot depending on the situation. My mom was born in Uruguay, South America. My dad was born in MN. I have traveled to many states in the U.S including Wisconsin, Florida, South and North Dakota, Kansas and Missouri. I have also traveled outside the U.S to Uruguay, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. I am about to start my first job at Pinehaven farm.

This summer

This summer I did summer swim and I started 4th actual swim season. I also have gone on many bike rides with my friends and on my own. I have hung out with my best friend Megan more times than I can count. I also have hung out a lot with my boyfriend of almost a year. I have also celebrated my quinceañera for my 15th birthday with many of my friends, my parents, family and family friends.

One thing going well my life is swim which I am super passionate about. I made varsity at the end of my 8th grade year but officially started the season off as varsity in 9th grade. My best strokes are butterfly and freestyle. I love my swim team and have gotten super close with them these past 4 years which has helped me in many positive ways. School is another thing that has always gone well for me. I am a straight A student for the most part unless we get into AP Human Geography and physics.

I would like to say that one of my strengths is writing but maybe not so much reading. Writing comes very naturally to me and I love doing it. I do read but mostly romance novels or mystery. My interests are mostly science but language arts comes in second for classes but interests in language arts is essays and different form or writing. Books would be cool but some books that they give us in school aren’t always that entertaining. When it comes to needs in school I always work best with slides available so I can check what exactly I need in the assignment. Also if we are to read a book on our own time it makes it a lot easier if I have checkpoints of what chapter/page we have to be on by the end of the week. The next thing isn’t a need it’s more of a want but I really do get more work done if I’m listening to music especially if it’s writing.
