Duke Energy was named after one brother, James B. Duke. James B. Duke led a group throughout lakes and rivers and built a system that gave the US power. The Duke Energy company has spread throughout the United States. Duke Energy is the reason we have electricity today because when James B. Duke found energy that has led us to lamps,light bulbs and other great invitations. James B. Duke founded Duke Energy in 1904 on April 30th. It is located in Pacolet , Spartanburg, S.C.. The school was closed in 1954. The school received national recognition in 2007.
It is a three room school and is 1 and a 1/2 stories tall.

Glendale mill changed ownership many more times but quickly closed its doors in 1961. The mill's edifice burned on March 21, 2004 and all that stays is the ruins. This allowed the factory to make 240,00 vehicles a year.Before all this in 1917 it was called BFW though it is now called BMW.BMW became popular in 1962 because of their luxury sedan models.
Today, BMWs are one of the most successful car companies in the U.S.

THey opened up this airport because after world war 1 there were lots of pilots were coming back from Europe and a lot of avitation was just starting out in the United States.
