Because you are at home things might distract you more, for instance your bed or a gaming system. It would affect the concentration. I am used to studying at home, but not like this. However, you feel additional stress when you overthink about how the question in the exam will be from the past paper you skipped/didn't do. It's hard remembering all of the content especially under the stress of the time limit. To deal with stress, you can change methods of studying to keep you involved and practising.
