Teaching idea: A teaching idea for the book would be to connect it to the movie.  The students would watch the animated movie in class and at the end would reflect on the actions of the other reindeer towards Rudolph.  Questions like, did the other reindeer treat Rudolph fair, why? And, How would you feel if you were treated like Rudolph?
