I felt very scared and upset for the girl who had to face a lot of issues after the whole experience. Genie's case can help us understand human behavior and human interaction by showing us a real example of what it is like to be ignored or not interacted with and what the side affects are because of it. one question I have about this case is how come no one heard or knew about this before she was already a teen?

It was like she was in prison. genie's case can help us understand how at a young age, if you aren't exposed to everyday things to help you develop skills, you can't function. Genie's case helps us understand that nurture contributes strongly to human behavior.  Because she was never exposed to speech or movement, the left part of her brain basically died because it never got used.

One question I have is why was Genie forced to move back in with her mother and in the same house? Even though she was young, all of the those horrid memories probably negatively affected her.

If not they can have many problems that sometimes can't be fixed. Her case can help us understand the psychological effects and behaviors a human has when they are neglected and in Genie's case, this would be a problem that changes her life permanently, so I think its safe to say that the way the brain develops at a young age and the way a young mind sees the world at a young age can mean a lot to the person for the rest of their lives.

I could not understand any reason why the parents would treat her like that besides that they were mentally insane. I also thought the explanation of how she was strapped to the toilet was insane and is one of the most cruel methods of torture I have ever heard or watched about. 

One thing I was wondering is if Genie understand what she was doing while she was living with her parents.
