The Daily Express is a newspaper targeted at an older generation who are mainly high class. It is important to include alternative readings in order to not be impartial otherwise the story is not being told correctly and therefore it enables the audience to make their own opinion of the story from both sides. 
An example of a magazine which speaks about both prospectives is The Guardian which is targetted at a younger tranditional audience. Therefore this magazine try to potray teenagers in a good light and then write the truth and good things about them for example their actual side of the story.
