         <description><![CDATA[<div>“For learning to be effective as a vehicle for ferrying the concerns espoused by the curriculum as informed by societal consideration and mirrored in individual subject structures, it should follow a learning process that incorporates both the needs of the learner and those of the teacher. . . so that society becomes the ultimate winner.” - Elliott Ziwira</div><div><br></div><div>Social forces are patterns of behavior that influence people to think, behave, act, and relate to one another in specific ways.</div><div><br></div><div>For the purpose of integrating children and adolescents into the culture and passing down the society's traditions and customs, all civilized communities create schools and educational programs. Primary schools, higher education, and educational initiatives in non-school contexts all function in the middle of a wide range of societal forces and trends at the dawn of the twenty-first century. Social forces must thus be one of the key factors taken into account during planning.</div><div><br></div><div>It's crucial to bear in mind while we explore this base that there are a lot of areas that influence instruction, but this presentation will only cover one factor, which is Poverty.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Activities to Accomplish the Curriculum Goals</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Activity #1 - </strong><strong><em>Audio Recording (Reflection):</em></strong><br>Students will be required to do an audio recording, every day for one month, sharing one thing they appreciate that they have in their lives, (eg: a home, toys)<br><br><strong>Activity #2 - </strong><strong><em>Supply Drives:<br></em></strong>The students will be asked to donate toys, clothes, or canned foods. At the end of each month, what was donated by the students will be given to a student or a member of the community who may be in need.&nbsp;<br><br>Teaching a child about the needs of the most vulnerable is an education that will go beyond their required studies. If we want our children to grow up with hearts of generosity, lead lives of compassion, and seek justice, these are two simple activities that will begin to shape a healthy perspective of how we can all work together to care for the poor.</div>]]></description>
