I meet Dave near 2018, when my former piano teacher recommended me to him for lessons because he was going to be moving to another state. Dave started to give me lessons and years later I out grew his teachings, so we stopped but maintained a great friendship, always stayed in contact and meet for coffee weekly or every other week.

-Leaving home at 16(from Ohio) for a traveling show/band. Spending two years performing in 37 states and 6 foreign countries.

-Going to the U of A and getting his degree in psychology. Masters at ASU and Degree of Music at Berkley.

-1988, spending 7 weeks in Rome, Italy. Observing the culture and changing his perspectives on things

- Spending 44 years in the public education system.

- Having a piano student. Creating a strong friendship.

- Dave meet a former roommate, a person he enjoyed and loved at the airport in New York by great coincidence. Dave was going to be flying to Rome and his friend to Spain. Before boarding they spent the time catching up over a glass of champagne in a car that was hired by the friend. It was memorable to him because he was amazed by that great coincidence, seeing him again.

- Participating in his nephew/nieces childhood. They all played instruments so they would have family gatherings. Playing a brass ensemble during Christmas and summer time.

Keep the bigger picture in mind, knowing everything is going to change
Just breathe ... (and through your nose)

Remember we are mind/body and spirit. Do things to nourish that.
Start everyday with clear intentions/gratitude.
Keep away from alcohol and drugs
Develop a spiritual life
Develop connections to people and community.

- More technology to deal/cope with. Its expensive but its great when it helps but sucks when it doesn't.

- Exercise and Fitness being more popular which has resulted in Dave keeping healthy and fit. Along resulting in a good life (health wise) and exercise being a great stress management.
