I chose this poem because it reminds me of when my dog ''ate'' my homework. I felt like the person in this poem except I did not put it in her food bowl. I do not like homework, but I would still never do that. It's too risky.

In this poem the poet uses humor to describe that his dog ate his homework! It turns out that he fed it to his dog so he would not have to do it! He said his teacher will have to wait for it,but I think he will be the one waiting, waiting inside during recess doing his homework at school.

When I read ''I Made A New Password''it reminds me of when I made a new password and I forgot it. But I only forgot it for a day or two,and I surprisingly only got locked out one or two times unlike this person who can never get in unless he goes to fix it some place.

I think the theme of this poem is to never make a really hard password that you know no one will figure out, because you might forget it too! It's very easy to forget a hard-to-get password.

I picked this poem because it reminded me of when my sister made a ''little'' code for me to read and it took me forever to figure it out. But just like this one,I figured it out and I read it all the time now.

After reading this poem it inspired me to make my own! So I did. Now it is on my desk in my room and when I come home from school I can read it to myself when ever I want.

All My Great Excuses by Kenn Nesbitt

I chose this poem because it reminded me of when my little sister made up a bunch of excuses so she did not have to do her homework, but it did not work. My mom also said ''Just do the work instead.'' But she never did it,instead she made up more excuses.

I think the theme/message of this poem is ''do the work and don't make excuses.'' You should never make excuses because it is just a form of lying. Like in this poem, all of his excuses are not true ''an airplane crashed into our house, tornadoes blew my notes away, volcanoes struck our town.'' Nobody is going to fall for that.

I don't whine and fuss for her to,she just likes to I guess. It's probobly because she does not like my dad letting me sit in the front seat.

In this poem the poet uses humor to tell that his mother drives him everywhere because he drives her crazy. At first he said it in a way that makes you think that she really wants to,but then he says it's because he whines and he will fuss if she does not.

I got inspired to write this poem because of the Harvest Fest in Harvest Green. We go there every year and my whole family loves it! We see all of the pretty red, orange, and yellow leaves around the haystacks, and when I wrote this poem I just had to visualize all of the people and leaves! When I read this poem it makes me visualize the fall fest all over again.

I wrote this poem because I truly love my cow, Macy. She is sort of an old cow, she's two years old and she's has had one baby. Macy is a very beautiful cow too. Any way that you look her she's still going to be pretty! In the poem I said ''I love you Macy, and it didn't start now.'' I said that because it means that I love Macy, and I didn't start loving her right now, I started loving her as soon as I laid eyes on her!
