The branding is very colourful and dynamic and creative - and changes a lot. It is now more aesthetically pleasing than it used to be - it used to be fairly strictly shaped - round or blocky. It is now more abstract - perhaps with a changing audience?

Newest logo - 2016. They tend to change every 5 years or so.

The logos have become more colourful, abstract & eye-catching. This is possibly because there is now much more choice for children when watching TV.

They made their ident to resemble their programmes that were airing, whereas they have stopped doing this now. This could be due to the diversity of programmes now.

The CBBC idents tend to change a lot as the younger generation do - the trends change a lot for children, because of technological advances. Children are becoming more and more advanced than they used to be - hence the resemblance of the logos.

It's manifesto was to show a multi cultural Britain - So we have decided to keep it as it was meant to be in the 1980's 

They produce shows and distribute shows that other channels wouldn't
 
The street in the Ident shows the different cultures within Britain. It also addresses political, racial and other minority groups. First person perspective of someone getting into a lift, each level of the lift is a new genre. Playing off their current ident with the feeling of going down levels but instead showing the different genres that are available and also aesthetic of a film strip.
