         <description><![CDATA[<p>Stress is apart of our everyday lives, it can bother us a ton during our time on Earth. But there are many ways to manage your stress in order to move on.</p><p><br></p><p>A personal stressful situation I´ve been in is working under pressure. I was washing dishes and my mom began yelling about a mess my sisters made, eventually she started making her anger vocal and it stressed me out as I generally HATE hearing my mom complain.</p><p><br></p><p>5 ways this situation made me feel:</p><p>I felt annoyed at my mother´s yelling</p><p>I felt overstimulated at the constant noise of my siblings and mother.</p><p>I felt pressured to finish these dishes as soon as possible before my mom possibly lashed her anger on me</p><p>I felt a slight headache from all the commotion. </p><p>I was afterward´s tired from all the stress my mother gave me.</p><p><br></p><p>7 examples of teen stress:</p><p>Family relations/issues</p><p>Romantic relationships</p><p>School related issues</p><p>Home responsibilities</p><p>Peer Pressure</p><p>Friendships</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>10 POSITIVE ways to manage your stress:</p><p>Take a walk.</p><p>Speak to a friend.</p><p>Spend time with a pet.</p><p>Exercise.</p><p>Go outside.</p><p>Play a game.</p><p>Read a book.</p><p>Draw.</p><p>Speak to a counselor.</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p><p>I could´ve spoke to a friend after my stressful situation in order to release my built in negativity and stress, which would´ve allowed me to get my feelings out and feel better afterward.</p><p><br/></p><p>10 NEGATIVE ways to handle stress</p><p>Bring your anger on someone else.</p><p>Releasing your anger on an object (breaking a plate in rage, for example.)</p><p>Criticizing yourself. (negative self talk)</p><p>Consuming alcohol.</p><p>Driving fast in a car.</p><p>Chewing your fingernails.</p><p>Smoking.</p><p>Consuming tobacco.</p><p>Taking muscle relaxants.</p><p>Gambling.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
