Martian is a wonderful book for anyone who is into space travel or discovery. Mark Watney is accompanied by the cosmos when stranded on mars. It is a fight to survive the natural occurrences that this planet dishes out. Even though this book sounds very suspenseful it has some of the best humor I have ever had the pleasure to read. Antony Beevor describes the heart soiling event that placed on June 6 1944 in WWII. As soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy they fought for their lives and ours. The author both describes the side of the Germans and the Americans leading up to D-Day. A land and time base of no war, no disease, no hunger, no death. The only death that was brought upon the world was distributed by scythes. Sacred beings before the mortal age. The bringer of death. In this Science Fiction two young teenagers are brought to order by scythes, they have been taken under the wing of scythe Farday as apprenticeship to the scythe kingdom.
