Scene: In a small village, Father and Mother long for a child. A giant appears with an offer.

Father: [worried] "We’ve been trying for so long. Will we ever have a child?"

Mother: [sadly] "I don’t know, but I pray every day for a miracle."

Giant: [suddenly appears] "I heard your wish. I can give you a child."

Mother: [startled] "Who are you? What do you want?"

Giant: "I am Buto Ijo, the giant of the forest. I will give you a child, but there is a condition."

Father: [nervously] "What condition?"

Giant: "Take this cucumber seed. Plant it, and soon you will have a child. But when she turns 17, you must give her back to me."

Mother: [hesitantly] "What will happen to her if we give her to you?"

Giant: [growling] "That is none of your concern! Agree to my terms, or remain childless forever!"

Father: [sighing] "We have no choice. We will accept."

Mother: "Very well, we agree."

Giant: [grinning] "Good. You will have your child, but remember your promise!" [disappears]

[Years later, Timun Mas grows up into a beautiful girl, loved by her parents. But the time comes for Buto Ijo to return.]

Timun Mas: [cheerfully] "Mother, Father, why do you both look so worried today?"

Mother: [with tears] "My dear Timun Mas, there is something we need to tell you. Many years ago, we made a deal with a giant to have you."

Father: [sadly] "The giant will come to take you away today. But we don’t want to lose you."

Timun Mas: [shocked] "What? A giant? What can we do?"

Mother: "Take these items, my child: cucumber seeds, needles, salt, and shrimp paste. Use them to escape the giant."

[Suddenly, Buto Ijo arrives, demanding Timun Mas.]

Giant: [roaring] "I have come to collect what is mine! Timun Mas, you belong to me!"

Father: [pleading] "Please, give us more time!"

Giant: [angrily] "No! A deal is a deal. Hand her over, or face the consequences!"

Timun Mas: [frightened but determined] "I won’t let you take me!" [runs away]

Giant: [chasing her] "You can’t escape me, Timun Mas!"

[Timun Mas throws the magical items to stop the giant.]

Timun Mas: [throws the cucumber seeds] "Take this!"

Giant: [stumbling] "A field of cucumbers? You think this will stop me?" [struggles to move forward]

Timun Mas: [throws the needles] "Now, the needles!"

Giant: [howling] "Argh! Bamboo spikes everywhere! But I’m still coming for you!"

Timun Mas: [throws the salt] "Let’s see if you can handle this!"

Giant: [screaming] "An ocean? How dare you? But I will still catch you!"

Timun Mas: [throws the shrimp paste] "This is my last chance!"

Giant: [roaring as he sinks] "A swamp? No! No! Help me!" [disappears into the swamp]

Timun Mas: [panting] "I did it... he’s gone."

Father: [hugging her] "You are safe now, my child."

Mother: [relieved] "We’ll never let anyone take you away again."

Narrator: Timun Mas and her parents lived happily, free from the giant's threat, and grateful for their love and courage.

Once upon a time, there lived an old woman with her son, named Malin. They lived suffered and hanged with the forest yield.

Mom : “Malin, come here son, help me to carry this firewoods.”

One day, the captain called malin, because he will rised Malin’s job become as captain in that ship. A few years later, Malin has became a rich man

Malin : “haha, now, I am a rich man. I can buy everything with my money. Now I must marry with Ningrum.

Malin’s mom very miss her son. Mom tired for waited Malin came back. Dayat always give support for Malin’s mom that Malin will came back and was a rich man.

Dayat : “Don’t sad, Mom.”

Mom : “I am tired, Dayat. I am tired for waiting Malin come back. We never get a news about Malin.”

Dayat : “I trust mom, Malin will come back and be a rich man.

Mom : “are you sure, Dayat?”

Dayat : “yes, mom. Don’t sad again mom J”

After Malin has became a rich man, Malin married with the captain daughter, Ningrum. They are very happy. They are a romantic couple.

Malin : Hello, my honey, what about you think?

Ningrum : My husband,shall we go on trip to island for honeymoon?

Malin : That’s good idea my wife, how about Dua Angsa Island?

Ningrum : Okay my husband, I agree with you!

Malin : Okay! if you agree, we will start tomorrow .

Tomorrow , Malin and his wife sailed to Dua Angsa Island. On their way, Malin’s ship stop in an island to top up Their supplies. Fortunatelly, that Island was Malin’s village. When arrived, Malin go out from his ship. Dayat saw Malin in the harbour.

Dayat : “ Malin... Is that Malin? Yeah, that’s Malin. I must tell it to his mother.”

Dayat went to house for ask Mom about Malin came back. Dayat is very happy about Malin came back. If the Mom know about this news, she was happy.

Dayat : “Mom...Mom...”

Mom : “I’m here Dayat.”

Dayat : “Mom, Malin come back. He has become a rich man now!”

Mom : “Are you sure that you look is Malin?”

Dayat : “Yes, I’m sure mom, impossible I can’t forget his face. I still remember his Face.”

Mom : “If you right, please accompany me to go there.”

And Dayat accompanied Malin’s mother to her son. When Reached There, Malin’s mother meet his son.

Mom : “Malin... Malin my son! Malin....”

Malin : “Who are you poor old woman? I don’t know you. My mother isn,t dirty like you...!!

Ningrum : “Hei you, go away now.”

Mom : “Malin... Malin...!”

Malin : “Go away... Go away now!”

Dayat : “MALIN! Do you forget your mother? Do you forget me, your best friend? This is your mother, malin.”

Malin : “I don’t know who are you and the old woman. I don’t have best friend like you.”

Dayat : “you’re evil. You disobedience to your mother.”

Mom : “can you remember me, son? I am your mother.”

Dayat : “remember your mother, please. She is always wait you to come back. Remember your promise, Malin.”

(Malin dragged his mother be rude until his mother drop down)

Malin : Don’t call me as your son, dirty old woman...! come on, my wife. We must go from this place.”

Ningrum : “yes, my husband.”

(After pushing his mother away, Malin came back to his ship)

Mom : Malin... Malin... Don’t leave your mother Malin...! My God, how could you say that? I can’t take his any more. I curse you... Turn into a stone...!!

Narrator: One day in the forest, the Rabbit who was known for his speed was relaxing. He saw the Tortoise walking slowly. The Rabbit was amused by how slowly the Tortoise moved.

Rabbit 1:

"Hey, Tortoise! Why are you walking so slowly? At that speed, it will take you a week to reach your destination!"

Hen-hen:

"I may not be as fast as you, Rabbit. But, the important thing is that I keep walking and I will eventually get there."

Rabbit 2 (laughs):

"Keep walking? Hahaha! You must be kidding! I could run ten times around the forest before you reach the end of the road!"

Turtle (smiles):

"Speed isn't everything, Rabbit. How about we have a race? Let's see who gets there first."

Rabbit 1 (stunned):

"You want to race with me? Hahaha! Alright, this will be the easiest race for me."

Narrator:

Finally, the Rabbit and the Tortoise agreed to have a race. The animals in the forest gathered to watch the race. The race began, and the Rabbit soon shot far ahead, while the Tortoise walked slowly but surely.

Rabbit 2 (while running fast):

"Look at me! I'm way ahead of you, Turtle. I think I can take a nap first."

Narrator:

The rabbit then stopped under a tree and decided to take a nap, because he was sure that the tortoise would not be able to catch up with him. Meanwhile, the tortoise continued to walk slowly, without stopping.

Tortoise (in heart):

"I will keep moving forward. Little by little, I will

will definitely arrive."

Narrator:

The rabbit fell into a deep sleep and did not realize that time was passing. Meanwhile, the turtle continued to walk with strong determination until he approached the finish line. When the rabbit finally woke up, he saw that the turtle had almost reached the finish line.

Rabbit 1 (shocked): "No way! How is that possible?"

Narrator: The hare ran as fast as he could, but it was too late. The tortoise had reached the finish line and won the race.

Tortoise (smiling wisely): "Slow but sure, Rabbit. Speed is not the key.

Scene 1: On the river bank, Jaka Tarub is walking in the forest. He saw angels bathing in the river.

Jaka Tarub: "Who are they? So beautiful, like they're not human... Ah, they must be angels from heaven. I have to do something..."

(Jaka Tarub saw their scarves placed on the river bank, he took one of them.)

Scene 2: The angels finished bathing and one by one flew back to heaven. However, Nawang Wulan, one of the angels, could not fly because her shawl was lost.

Nawang Wulan: "Where is my shawl? Without this shawl, I can't go back to heaven!"

Jaka Tarub: "Sorry, what happened? Why do you look so anxious?"

Nawang Wulan:"I lost my shawl. I can't go back to heaven."

Jaka Tarub: "Oh, that's really unfortunate. Then, you can stay in my village first, until you find your shawl."

Scene 3: Some time later, Nawang Wulan lives at Jaka Tarub's house and they finally get married.

Nawang Wulan: "Jaka, I have to tell you something. I'm not like an ordinary woman. I'm an angel, and if I find my shawl, I might have to go back to heaven."

Jaka Tarub: "I know, my wife. But... let fate decide. The most important thing now is our happiness."

Scene 4: One day, Nawang Wulan found her shawl which was hidden by Jaka Tarub. He was sad and disappointed.

Nawang Wulan: "Jaka! So all this time, you were the one hiding my scarf? Why did you do this?"

Jaka Tarub: "I'm afraid you will leave me if you find that shawl. I love you, Nawang Wulan."

Nawang Wulan: "Love built on lies will not last. I have to go back to where I came from."

Jaka Tarub:"Don't leave me... I can't live without you."

Nawang Wulan: "I'm sorry, Jaka. But I have to go. Take good care of our child."

(Nawang Wulan flies back to heaven, leaving Jaka Tarub crying bitterly.)

Scene 5: Jaka Tarub looks at the sky, realizing his mistake.

Jaka Tarub:"I have lost Nawang Wulan... All because of this lie. I will take care of my child and hope that one day Nawang Wulan will forgive me."

(Jaka Tarub returns home feeling empty, but with a strong determination to be a good father.)

KANCIL DAN BUAYA

Once upon a time there was a clever deer. He lives near the river. The mouse deer usually went to the river to drink. One day, the mouse deer was thirsty. He wanted to drink from the river but he knew that crocodiles lived and waited under the water to eat him. He thought hard and got a brilliant idea.

Kancil: "I will put my feet in and find out whether the water is warm or not."

But of course the mouse deer didn't do what he said. He didn't put his foot in but the deer took a stick and put one end into the water. Blurrrr...! Surely a crocodile grabbed a stick and pulled it into the water.

Mouse Deer: "Stupid crocodile! Can't you see the difference between a stick and a leg?"

Then the mouse deer ran to the other side of the river and drank water.

The next day, the deer felt hungry. He wanted to eat grass on the river bank so he had to cross a dangerous river full of crocodiles. He thought hard again and came up with another clever idea.

Kancil: "Crocodile, come here!" then several crocodiles emerged from the water. They looked happy and saw their sharp teeth.

Crocodile: "Hello, deer. Have you come to be my lunch? We are hungry."

Kancil: "Sorry, crocodile, not today, I came to you to bring an invitation from the king. You are invited to a party. The king ordered me to count all the crocodiles in this river so he knows how to prepare enough food for you."

Crocodile: "Really...? Tell us what to do."

Kancil: "You have to line up from this side of the river to the other side,".

Not long after that, the crocodile gathered all his friends and family. He ordered a march across the river.

The deer then jumped onto the crocodile's back.

Kancil: "One, two, three"

The mouse deer counted and jumped until he arrived at the other side of the river.

Kancil: "Enough, I've counted all of you."

He laughed and ran into the meadow.

Bawang Merah : "Ahh! Snakes! Help me, Mother! Help!"

Step-Mother : "What is this? Why are there snakes in the gourd?"

Bawang Putih : "Perhaps it’s because you weren’t kind to the old woman. She wanted to teach you a lesson."

Bawang Merah : "I should have been kind, like you, Bawang Putih. I’m so sorry."

Bawang Putih : "It’s okay, Bawang Merah. Now that you’ve learned your lesson, we can all live happily together."

Once upon a time, there lived a man named Toba. He was a diligent farmer. One day, he was fishing and the bait was finally eaten by a big fish.

Toba : "It's a big golden-scaled fish! I will have a delicious meal today"

He went home happily. Unfortunately, there was no firewood at home. Toba put the gold scaly fish in the basin and left. When he came back, he was surprised to see many coins in the basin.

Toba : "Where is the fish? How could it disappear...and what is this? Where do these coins come from?"

When he entered his room, he was surprised to see beautiful girl combing her hair.

Toba : "Wait, who are you?"

Putri : "I'm the incarnation of the golden-scaled fish you are looking for. I have been cursed to be a fish until someone touches me.”

Toba : "I see... I'm Toba. What is your name?"

Putri : "I'm Putri.  You must be very hungry. i will cook something for you."

Several days passed. Toba was falling in love with Putri. Putri knew it and Toba asked her to marry him.

Toba : "Putri, would you be my wife?"

Putri : "Yes, I would, Toba. But, with one condition."

Toba : "What is it?"

Putri : "Promise me not to tell anyone that I'm an incarnation of fish. If you break this promise, I can't imagine the consequence."

Toba : "I will do that, Putri. I promise I will not tell anyone.”

They got married. Not long after that, they were gifted a child named Samosir. Unfortunately, Samosir was very lazy and naughty. One day, his mother asked him to deliver the meal for his father in the field.

Putri : "Samosir, give this to your Dad. He must be hungry as he hasn't eaten anything yet since morning."

Samosir : "All right, Mom.”

On his way, he stopped for a while to play with his friends. After a few hours, he continued walking. Feeling hungry, he couldn't help but ate almost all his father's meal.

Samosir : "Oh, no! I hope father will not get angry.”

Toba : "Where have you been, Samosir? I have been waiting for so long."

Samosir : "Eee...ehhh, here is the meal, Dad.”

Toba : "What is this, Samosir? You ate all my meal?? How dare you? You're stubborn. You little fish!"

Toba slapped Samosir and forgot about his promise. Samosir cried and complained about it to his mother.

Samosir : "Mom, Dad got angry and said that I'm a son of fish!."

Putri : "Samosir, go up to the hill before the flood comes."

Samosir "Yes, Mom!"

Samosir went up and hid on the hill. Suddenly, the sky turned to dark and the lightening stroke that place. The flood came from the river. Toba's wife became a fish again.

Toba : "What happened?? Where did this flood come from? Aa...hhh!!!!"  

He was drifted in the great flood and people then named it Toba Lake. In the middle of the lake was an island, Samosir hideout. People then called it Samosir Island.

Mbah Marto : Calm down, Pak Tarno. It might just be the wind.

The rumbling grows louder. Suddenly, a mist appears, forming a face.

Spirit of Mount Merapi : (rumbling voice) Hear me, humans! Do not destroy my home! I will be angry if you continue to do wrong!

Everyone is shocked and silent.

Wulan : We're sorry, mountain spirit. We didn't mean to disturb you.

Spirit of Mount Merapi : (voice softens) I know you're not all evil. But remember, nature is our shared home. Always maintain its balance.

The mist slowly disappears.

Pak Tarno : Mbah, what does this mean?

Mbah Marto : This is a warning for all of us. We must live in harmony with nature. If we respect nature, nature will respect us.

They all stand in silence, pondering the message from the mountain spirit.

[Narator]

In a beautiful kingdom called Sekar Kuning, lived a princess named Mandalika, renowned for her beauty. Many princes fell in love with her, including Pangeran Adipati from a neighboring kingdom.

[Scene 1: The Royal Palace of Sekar Kuning]

Putri Mandalika is sitting pensively in the palace garden.

Putri Mandalika: (Talking to herself) "Love... why must you be so complicated? I care for my people, but I also have feelings for Pangeran Adipati. How can I choose?"

Raja and Ratu approach Putri Mandalika.

Raja: "My daughter, what troubles you? Your face looks gloomy."

Putri Mandalika: "Father, Mother, I am confused. I do not know who to choose."

Pangeran Adipati enters.

Pangeran Adipati: "Putri Mandalika, allow me to declare my love once more. I am willing to do anything for you."

Putri Mandalika: "Prince, thank you for your love. However, I must think of my people's future."

[Scene 2: The Beach]

Putri Mandalika stands at the edge of the beach, gazing at the vast ocean.

Putri Mandalika: (Talking to herself) "Ocean... you are so vast and deep. Can you carry away all this sorrow and doubt?"

Penasihat Raja approaches Putri Mandalika.

Penasihat Raja: "Princess, the people are restless. They fear that a war may arise over your love."

Putri Mandalika: "I do not want my people to suffer because of my problems."

Putri Mandalika then makes a very difficult decision.

Putri Mandalika: (Raising her voice) "My people, listen to me! For the sake of peace and our collective well-being, I will sacrifice myself."

In a beautiful kingdom called Sekar Kuning, there lived a beautiful princess named Mandalika. Her beauty captivated the hearts of many princes, one of whom was Prince Adipati from a neighboring kingdom.

[Scene 1: Palace of Sekar Kuning Kingdom]

Princess Mandalika was sitting in thought in the palace garden.

Princess Mandalika: (Muttering) Love... why are you so complicated? I love my people, but also Prince Adipati. How can I choose?

The King and Queen came to Princess Mandalika.

King: My daughter, what's wrong with you? Your face looks gloomy.

Princess Mandalika: Father, Mother, I'm confused. I don't know who to choose.
