Steven discovered today that when you are casting from your laptop, you will see a little icon in the left hand side of the board titled, Menu. Tap on that and then you will get your specific annotation tools and the eraser there should work when trying to annotate when casting.

I know some of you were trying to find a way to not have to erase each slide, quit Annotation tool, move to the next slide, and then complete the process. I found this short video :This video addresses a common question regarding the use of Google Slides without needing a computer connection. The presenter explains how to annotate directly within Google Slides using a web browser, thus allowing for an easy and dynamic presentation experience. By accessing the true web-based version of Google Slides through the URL slides.google.com, users can open their presentations and enter slideshow mode. The presenter highlights the importance of using the three-dot menu to turn on the pen tool, enabling annotations that stick to the slides while navigating through them.

One common frustration of the new board I’ve heard from many of you is that the students are sometimes scribbling on the board while you are in the hallway in the morning during arrival or at other times. Here is how to fix that:

2 ways to disable the touch feature on your board:

1.Press and hold the volume button for 10-15 seconds/You will receive a message on the board that touch has been disabled.

2. On the side toolbar, select the toolbox icon, and then the touch disable button.

Only 1 way to enable the touch again-

Press and hold the volume button for 10-15 seconds/You will receive a notification on the board that touch has been restored.

If you’d like to see this in action, here is a video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DJeat5U89Fo
